The plain-language terms for using Patchwork during the beta.
Using Patchwork
Patchwork is for adults creating bedtime stories for the children in their care. You are responsible for the details you enter and for any family voice you record, including having permission to use that voice.
Beta service
Patchwork is in beta. Features, limits, and prices may change as we improve the product. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect a paid plan.
Billing
Paid plans are billed through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. Gifts are one-off payments that grant a fixed period of access when redeemed. Current prices and limits are shown at checkout and on your profile.
Cancellation
You can cancel a subscription any time from the billing portal on your profile. Access continues until the end of the current paid period; you will not be charged again after cancelling.
Refunds
If something goes wrong with a charge, contact us and we will put it right. Beyond statutory rights, refunds for partial periods are considered case by case during the beta.
Acceptable use
Do not use Patchwork to generate content that is unlawful, harmful, or intended for anyone other than a child in your care, and do not upload a voice you are not permitted to use.
